​A Cougar Shout Out goes to the U12 KV Slammers team who won gold at the Moncton Hawks tournament this past weekend.  Congrats to QMS students Cassie Haley, Nicole Jenkins, Megan McCready, Ella McDonald, and Julia Williams. 

Sports:  

Good luck to the JV Girls basketball team as they host RPS today at 4:00pm – this is a make-up game from last week.
 
Good luck to the JV Boys basketball team as they travel to MCS today for 4:00pm. The team will also travel to BMS on Thursday at 4pm for a make-up game.
 
The Varsity Girls basketball practice has been cancelled today due to the make-up game.
 
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys basketball team on winning their home tournament. The team continues to go undefeated this season! Thank you to all of the parents and coaches for your help to make the tournament a success.

PINK T-shirts are available for sale on our QMS CashOnline.  Deadline to purchase is Thursday, Feb. 7th.
 
CREW will be selling popcorn for $1 at noon out of Room 212 on Wednesday, at noon. Help support our CREW endeavours! Rafiki bracelets will be on sale on Wednesdays and Fridays at noon as well. This is a fun gift for a friend this Valentine's Day. 
 
Would CREW members please go to Mme Dow’s room today at noon to prepare for this week’s sales.
 
Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup 2019 - The KV Devils have made the Top 10 finalists! Several players on the team are QMS students and we are so very proud of their accomplishment and great community service.  They are now in need of our support to make it to the Top 3. QMS is starting a knitting club and we are looking for volunteers! We are looking for people who have some knowledge of knitting basics and are free to help out Fridays from 11:50 -12:40. Volunteers will work with beginning students to help master the basics, and are welcome to come every week or whenever their schedule permits. And reminder that needles and yarn donations are also being accepted. If you are interested, please contact Mme Leblanc or Mrs. Stoddart.
